Janie's practice focuses on litigation and dispute resolution, with a particular emphasis on intellectual property. She has experience in a range of trademark matters from trademark clearance through enforcement and litigation of trademark disputes. Janie is also experienced in copyright and patent litigation, including cases in federal court and before the International Trade Commission.

In addition, Janie counsels the firm’s clients with matters related to product advertising as well as food and beverage labeling, along with related regulatory issues.

While in law school, Janie briefed and argued an immigration asylum case before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on behalf of a pro bono client. She also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Arthur L. Alarcón of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
