Cara Lowe sharpens firm’s focus helping emerging and middle-market companies with M&A and full-lifecycle corporate capabilities in San Francisco and Marin
SAN FRANCISCO – July 13, 2026 – Hanson Bridgett LLP, a full-service law firm headquartered in San Francisco with offices across California announced that Cara Lowe, founder of Pivot Law and former managing partner, has joined the firm’s Corporate group in San Francisco and San Rafael.
Lowe’s arrival marks the latest step in the strategic growth of Hanson Bridgett’s Corporate team, which advises businesses at every stage of the enterprise lifecycle — from entity formation and venture financing through governance, securities matters, mergers and acquisitions, and succession planning. Her addition comes amid the firm’s continued statewide expansion, including its recent establishment of offices in San Diego and California’s Central Valley.

Lowe brings three decades of experience as a corporate transactional attorney counseling emerging and middle-market companies, high-net-worth individuals, and private family offices across industries including real estate, technology, manufacturing, and financial services.

As founder and managing partner of Pivot Law, Lowe not only served high profile companies and high-net-worth individuals, but also oversaw the strategic direction of the firm, which grew over 12 years. Earlier in her career, she was a long-time partner at Lubin Olson Niewiadomski LLP, where she served a three-year term as the firm’s managing partner, overseeing its operations, financial management, and strategic direction.
Lowe holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, a master of laws degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University School of Law, and a law degree from UC Law San Francisco (formerly Hastings).
