Looking ahead, we’re also pleased to confirm our renewed commitment to the 2025–2026 certification cycle, joining over 275 peer firms dedicated to a fairer, more
transparent path to leadership in the law.

Mansfield’s data-driven certification process ensures that all qualified talent has an equal opportunity to advance into leadership roles. Since joining in 2020, and retaining our Mansfield Certification Plus status since, we have committed to making our advancement processes more transparent and to expanding talent pools for hiring and promotions.

We also appreciate that a US Federal Court recently affirmed that Mansfield aligns with anti-discrimination laws, reinforcing the legal integrity and strength of our work alongside other Mansfield Certified firms.

Since joining Mansfield, we have taken deliberate steps to improve inclusivity and transparency in leadership pathways, including:

  • Publishing clear and accessible descriptions for leadership roles and advancement processes
  • Encouraging partners to join Mansfield career advancement opportunities — practice pitch sessions, client forums, and in-person networking and learning events — to build relationships with legal department leaders who value inclusivity

About Mansfield Plus Certification

To achieve Mansfield Certification with the "Plus" designation, firms must voluntarily provide data to Diversity Lab to show progress and outcomes of DEI efforts, including broadening talent pools and increasing the visibility of advancement processes. Mansfield is a year-long structured certification process designed to ensure all qualified talent at participating law firms have a fair and equal leadership role. The focus is on “opening the door wider” and ensuring that opportunities for advancement are transparent and inclusive for everyone. Mansfield expands opportunities, fostering growth without imposing limitations.
