
Intro
April Yang focuses on health care law and related litigation and health data privacy compliance. She has represented clients in complex civil matters, including cybersecurity-related consumer class actions and whistleblower cases arising under the False Claims Act and the California False Claims Act. Previously, April was a Legal Fellow at the USC Institute on Inequalities in Global Health, where she consulted for and drafted evaluation reports commissioned by international governance bodies. These included the World Health Organization, the United Nations, civil society organizations, policymakers, and academic institutions. Her work assessed the impact of public health initiatives relating to HIV/AIDS legislation and legal protections.
