Hanson Bridgett Commits to 2024-2025 Mansfield Certification for Diversity and Inclusion

August 14, 2024 (San Francisco, CA) – Hanson Bridgett LLP is proud to announce the firm is renewing its commitment to Diversity Lab's Mansfield Certification for 2024-2025. As an early adopter of the Mansfield Certification process, the firm has retained its current certification based on its year-over-year focus on increasing inclusivity and diversity in leadership and offering equal opportunity for talent to be considered for advancement. 2024 marks the 5th consecutive year the firm has advanced its diversity goals through the year-long Mansfield certification process.

Now, more than 365 law firms are participating in the Mansfield certification process, a resounding affirmation the legal profession remains dedicated to its values and commitment to fair and inclusive talent practices despite frequent calls within the media that corporate DEI is merely a fading trend. Hanson Bridgett aims for its attorneys and professional staff to reflect the diverse California communities in which its people are so heavily engaged in supporting – a compelling advantage for the clients the firm serves.

The Mansfield methodology – which evolves and broadens each year – is a science-backed and data-driven solution aimed at shifting workplace cultures, increasing transparency, communicating career development and advancement opportunities, and sharing knowledge to work and succeed together. Hanson Bridgett has currently achieved the “Certification Plus” status – a special categorization that includes metrics to ensure long-term successful outcomes.

Hanson Bridgett's real-action approach to DEI and the desire to make the legal profession more representative and equitable as a whole is led by Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer Jennifer Martinez. The firm is currently headed by a female Managing Partner and a C-Suite that consists of more than 50 percent women and nearly 30 percent LGBTQ+.
